Saanjh Psychotherapy

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I recognize that it takes courage to share your story, and I deeply respect the trust that comes with that. I approach each client with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment, striving to create a safe and supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and encouraged throughout your journey. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My areas of focus include, but are not limited to, addictions and substance use, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship challenges, family dynamics, attachment wounds, and emotional regulation.

I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, an approach that understands the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own perspective, emotions, and role. Some parts may carry pain from past experiences, while others work hard to protect you—sometimes in ways that can feel overwhelming or confusing. In our work together, we will gently explore these parts with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgment. IFS helps you build a deeper connection with your core Self—the calm, grounded, and confident center within you. From this place, healing can occur as wounded parts are heard, understood, and supported, allowing for greater balance, clarity, and emotional freedom.

In addition, I am an EMDR trained therapist. My work is trauma-informed, meaning I prioritize safety, pacing, and choice throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you. My counselling style is warm, open, and collaborative. I am committed to fostering a strong therapeutic relationship and tailoring our work together to meet your unique needs. I use an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to best support your goals. I believe that healing involves both addressing present challenges and working through the impact of past experiences. Together, we can explore ways to reduce current distress while gently processing what may still be held in your mind and body. “There are two levels to your pain: the pain that you create now, and the pain from the past that still lives on in your mind and body. Ceasing to create pain in the present and dissolving past pain – this is what I want to talk about now.” — Eckhart Tolle
